DetailsPulseaudio fails to start without DBus started. This is odd considering the PulseAudio package didn't want me to install DBus.
Additional info: $ pacman -Qi pulseaudio ... Version : 0.9.22-2 Depends On : libpulse=0.9.22-2 rtkit libtool speex libsamplerate tdb udev ... $ pulseaudio --start E: main.c: Daemon startup failed. $ pulseaudio E: core-util.c: Failed to connect to system bus: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory E: bluetooth-util.c: Failed to get D-Bus connection: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory E: module.c: Failed to load module "module-bluetooth-discover" (argument: ""): initialization failed. E: main.c: Module load failed. E: main.c: Failed to initialize daemon. Steps to reproduce: Install PulseAudio. Don't install, or disable DBus. Try to start PulseAudio. |

Reason for closing: Not a bug
Additional comments about closing: libpulse depends on dbus-core. The error message is completely clear about what is wrong on your system, so this is a configuration error on your side.
