DetailsAs everyone knows, eric is the best python editor out there... [YMMV]
eric4 is for use with python2 and is packaged in extra as "eric". eric5 is for use with python3. Both branches seem to be equally stable. eric5 is currently available in the AUR, but now that its python3 related dependencies (python-qscintilla/python-qt/pyqt/python-sip) have all become available in extra (thanks!), it should be straightforward to maintain eric5 in extra as well. |
