I switched to NFS mounted archlinux mirror on my build system, now checkpkg won't work anymore because pacman returns file:/// URIs that wget doesn't support.
It would be nice if there's detection for file:/// and don't download it at all but use the URI without file:// in front of it.

I've checked in a change that I hope fixes this.

Download https://xentac.net/svn/arch-tools/devtools/trunk/checkpkg and copy it over /usr/bin/checkpkg. Tell me if it works.

What's the error?

It still tells me that file:// isn't a supported scheme, this message is from wget, so it seems checkpkg doesn't jump into the straight copy action and tries wget instead.

Whoops, I had a logic problem in my code. Try the new version that's up now.
