Description: Simple to see and reproduce.
When I upgraded LibreOffice 3.3rc2 to 3.3rc3, I noticed that link for writer is not available. Additional info: * libreoffice 3.3.0.3-1 Steps to reproduce: Just upgrade to libreoffice3.3rc3. The strange point is that writer.desktop file is available. |

i noticed that myself but if you killall gnome-panel it would
show. No idea why is happening.

change tryexec=oowriter to lowriter in
/usr/share/applications/writer.desktop

The other shortcuts (calc, impress) show up but don't work, they
also need to be changed from oo* to lo*. Or libreoffice could be
built with --with-compat-oowrappers option until these are fixed
upstream.

Libreoffice version 3.3.0.3-2 is working for me now. Thanks for
fixing the bug !
