Works for me http://www.w3.org/Graphics/PNG/inline-alpha.html
Can you please give the address of the specific site which doesn't work?

This test don't work for me neither. However it is only SMALL change of color (watch letter G on given image).

Other webpages I have noticed this problem: leganto.cz (logo) and jandrabek.cz (logo)

do you have xulrunner from our repos and from aur(with system cairo support enabled) ?

stock packages from the repos work very well. I see the letter colors exactly as in chromium

No, I use up to date packages from extra.

(I even tried to download mozilla's static build and the behaviour was exactly the same.)

You are aware of the fact that most PNG images include color profile information? Not every browser respects those profiles, but Internet Explorer (all versions) and recent versions of Firefox (3.6, maybe 3.5 also) do. To get rid of those color differences, you should strip color profile information from PNG images using pngcrush.

status with firefox 4?

It still applies. I'll assume this is the color profile problem, which is not a bug.
