In make 3.82, the license was changed from GPL2+ to GPL3+.

It doesnt matter, Arch covers all 'and later' GPL licenses with the generic GPL field.
As you can see in the make 3.81 script, the license is GPL not GPL2 or GPL2+ or whatever.

The point is that GPL currently means GPL2+.

From the packaging standards:
(L)GPL - (L)GPLv2 or any later version
(L)GPL3 - (L)GPL3 or any later version

license package:
$ ls -l /usr/share/licenses/common/GPL
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 7. Mai 2010 /usr/share/licenses/common/GPL -> GPL2


From my understanding, GPL3 would be the correct license entry.
