It seems to be working now.
Of course, at that time I did not have the mplayer-plugin package installed, and it still worked :|
I've installed the package and the streaming and audio are working without any problems.
PS: Using firefox, in case it matters.

Eugenia, can you still reproduce this problem? I don't have speakers connected at this moment, and looking at the age of this bug, I don't know if it still applies to the current version.
