Description:

The version of consolekit (0.4.2) shipped in [testing] uses the broken VT_WAITEVENT ioctl which causes it to occasionally fail to mark a session as active after resuming a suspended system. If the user is using new-style ACL permissions in /dev, this results in the inability to use audio or to suspend/shutdown the system for the duration of the session.

Permissions can be restored for the session by switching to a different VT and back again (may need to do it more than once if the switch back to the session VT is missed).

This bug was fixed in consolekit-0.4.3 by reverting the patch introducing VT_WAITEVENT support.

Steps to reproduce:
Suspend. Resume. Check ck-list-sessions to see if active property of session is FALSE. Repeat until it occurs.
