Description:
pcsclite package depends on hal (and we all know hal is being phased out) while it can be used just fine with libusb
some say that using libusb and the pcsc daemon causes unneeded usb polling but you can use pcsc from version 1.6.5 without the need of a daemon so no polling here.

At the moment, hal is not phased out yet.
I'm using hal, so I don't want to exclude the use of hal from this package.
However, this is not a bug.
So, if you want a customized pcsclite package without hal, do it yourself.
