Description: With the new 2.6.37 kernel in the testing repo, when the screen goes in standby through DPMS, there is no way to rewake the backlight.
I guess that my intel 945 mobile chipset is affected by the following kernel bug:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22872
The patch attached to the following comment in kernel bugzilla fixes the problem for me in my self-compiled kernel, so I wonder if it can be applied to the archlinux kernel package while you wait for upstream:

This other patch works for me too, is smaller and looks cleaner. See https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22672#c42
