DetailsConsider this a preemptive bug.
The makepkg to be included with pacman 3.5 changes the logic that determines what files are stripped. The kernel image falls under this new criteria. The end result is a kernel image without a symtab, making external module compilation impossible. |

Agreed, we should not strip anything in the kernel package. I commited this to trunk.
