Hello.
Can you add support for 7-Zip 9 with a patch please ?

In the PKGBUILD add only this :

If you decide to patch it there is also a patch adding xz support here:

The patch can also be found here: http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/app-arch/xarchiver/files/xarchiver-0.5.2-add_xz_support.patch?revision=1.1 with the note:
"Not submitted upstream because the upstream author rewrote the code. So, this
patch may be dropped when/if upstream releases a new version."

you know the patching rules in Arch. we ship plain vanilla. there's no need to add such features before upstream does. you're on your own for now. won't implement.
