Description:
FreeNX, as the official nomachine server has support to "Unencrypted sessions". Under FreeNX all you have to do is set: EXTERNAL_PROXY_IP="your.fqdn.com" on node.conf and set your client to connect without encryption. This is really useful on very slow links. Well, Arch FreeNX package doesn't come with this option in the node.conf, and even if you manually add it. It Won't work. If one *remove* the Arch FreeNX package and grab the official code from FreeNX site and manually install it. Unencrypted sessions work again. Additional info: * package version: freenx 0.7.3-6 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Just add EXTERNAL_PROXY_IP="your.fqdn.com" to node.conf and try to establish an unencrypted session. |
