please paste the version of the package.

pacman -Qs chromium.

also do a ls -l /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, check mozilla permission.

personally i can't replicate your problems.

I rebuilt chromium from the abs pkgbuild... seems like maybe it's starting up normally... I wonder if it had something to do with gtk qt or something, or qtcurve (one of those) ... because I think I saw some errors in regards to that after this, a little bit later. idk but seems to be starting normally after the rebuild... though maybe it's something entirely unrelated....

pacman -Qs chromium slave-iv

this seems to happen intermittently :( I've no idea why. usually chrome won't start, then I start it from the cli, it starts slow, then works, then works normally for a while.

does it happen if you remove the nppdf.so and skypebuttons.so plugins?
Comment by Caleb Cushing (xenoterracide) - Thursday, 20 January 2011, 17:54 GMT
@Ionut I don't know, I'll have to test for a while... seems skype buttons is owned by kopete... I have completely removed acrobat.
