gail installs libgail.so in /opt/gnome/lib/gtk-2.0/modules, but this is not seen by glade2 and gives this message at startup:
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "gail": libgail.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "gail-gnome": libgail-gnome.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

also libgail-gnome package is needed - its not in pacman at all. So gnome maintainers - please note this.

Moving the gail modules to /usr prefix solves the first error that glade gives.
