Description:

A kernel panic occurs when NetworkManager is connecting via PPPoE. This does not happen when connecting with pppoe-connect of rp-pppoe.
Netowork card is Broadcom BCM5784M (tg3 driver), and the machine itself is a Dell Studio 1535.
Unfortunately, I was unable to collect kernel crash messages, I will collect them ASAP.

Additional info:

rp-pppoe 3.10-5
networkmanager 0.8.3-0.20101130
kernel26 2.6.36.2-1
ppp 2.4.5-1

Steps to reproduce:

1. Boot up;
2. Connect Ethernet cable;
3. Start NetworkManager with preconfigured PPPoE connection (it detects the cable and starts connecting, crash occurs).
