Description:

As described on the Arch forum (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=863374), as a result of some recent package upgrade Fluxbox not longer launches properly when launched from Qingy.

I honestly don't know if this is a Qingy issue, a Fluxbox issue, or some unrelated configuration/environment issue. Qingy is able to launch other WM's just fine, and Fluxbox is able to launch fine under other Desktop Managers (e.g., slim). But when launching FB under qingy, FB runs but doesn't display wallpaper, allows you to access the popup menu but then won't launch any apps, etc.

Additional info:

My qingy fluxbox launch script is as follows:
[darose@daroselin ~]$ cat /etc/qingy/xsessions/fluxbox
#!/bin/dash
. /etc/profile
/usr/bin/startfluxbox

Steps to reproduce:
1. Switch to qingy.
2. Try to start a session using Fluxbox.
3. Observe failure as described above.

FYI - as described at the forum link above, there is a workaround possible for this: explicitly launch Fluxbox on display :1 .

Still no idea as to root cause or actual fix though.
