DetailsDescription: * Mouse Cursor Disappears In Gnome After Certain Time Idle
Additional info: I've noticed this problem happens typically after I let the box sit idle for around 15mins., I leave the computer sit, then come back to move the mouse and notice the cursor is gone. I'm using a Logitech MX500 plugged in USB amd I dual boot with Windows XP and I've never had any mouse problems under XP, so I rule out a defective mouse because it works fine. * package version(s) Gnome 2.32.1 xf86-input-evdev-2.5.0-1-i686 xf86-input-mouse-1.6.0-1-i686 libxcursor-1.1.11-1-i686 metacity-2.30.3-1-i686 I'm also running the Nouveau drivers so not sure if this could be causing the problem. xf86-video-nouveau-0.0.16_git20100819-1-i686 nouveau-dri-7.9-1-i686 I read that people were saying that libxcursor might be the issue and that the previous version fixed the problem, but I can't find 1.1.10 to download and try. * config and/or log files etc. Xorg log; http://pastebin.com/njhvXQAu Dmesg; http://pastebin.com/PgS7z0cm Messages log; http://pastebin.com/1quyyhSr Steps to reproduce: I just let the box sit for any length of time, 15mins or longer and then when I go to use the mouse the cursor is gone.
