DetailsGhostscript 3.7.1-1 is built with default X11 resources that don't work with current versions of X11. The following error occurs when displaying any PS or PDF file:
| Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown keysym name: apLineDel | Warning: ... found while parsing '<Key>apLineDel: GV_Page(page+5) ' | Warning: String to TranslationTable conversion encountered errors This bug results in a broken configuration, i.e. it's no longer possible to navigate pages with the "page up" and "page down" keys, etc. Other distributions have run into the same problem, and the commonly used solution appears to be to patch the offending line out of "/usr/share/gv/gv_class.ad". |
