Detailsthe ./configure step of the build for this package uses the --enable-rdev flag, which was removed back in May, according to the git repo.
imo, this should have been included in the great core rebuild that took place not too long ago. The PKGBUILD could use some love in other ways as well. |

Note that the [core] rebuild is far from over and util-linux-ng is still on the list... (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/User:Allan/Core_Rebuild_List)
