DetailsDescription:
I can say I use QtiPlot everyday. After upgrading Archlinux x86_64 I can't use QtiPlot anymore because if I modify some graphs the application crashes and exits. The terminal gives this error: [garret@desktop ~]$ qtiplot qtiplot: symbol lookup error: qtiplot: undefined symbol: _ZN2mu14ParserCallbackC1EPFdddEbiNS_8ECmdCodeE [garret@desktop ~]$ Trying to downgrade the package to the 0.9.8.2-1 version I can't start the program because of this error: [garret@desktop ~]$ qtiplot qtiplot: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_date_time-mt.so.1.43.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [garret@desktop ~]$ Searching in the forum I found an old topic about this issue: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=72041 Additional info: qtiplot 0.9.8.2-2 Steps to reproduce: Create a scatter graph. Modify it going into the "Axis tab" trough right-click mouse button. The application immediately crashes. |

For my 32bit machine, I cannot open qtiplot after updating, with a similar error message.
@Haowei:don't think so, he filed the bug report just before the muparser update if I'm not mistaken
I created a screenshot. When you click on those tabs the application crashes.
I'll get a new package in tomorrow night. If you really need that option it should work to downgrade muparser I suppose.
the error message is: "qtiplot: undefined symbol: _ZN2mu14ParserCallbackC1EPFdddEbiNS_8ECmdCodeE"
and package versions:
extra/qtiplot 0.9.8.2-2 [8,05 M] [installed]
Data analysis and scientific plotting - free clone of Origin
extra/muparser 1.34-1 [0,11 M] [installed]
a fast math parser library
