Windowmaker needs libpng.so.3 to run:

#startx
...
"wmaker: error while loading shared libraries: libpng.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

windowmaker package dependencies are:
"xfree86 libtiff zlib libjpeg libungif"

libpng is missing
