Description:
We automatically load ALSA's OSS emulation in our udev rule /lib/udev/rules.d/81-arch.rules. Many people will have to blacklist these modules in rc.conf when switching to PulseAudio, which is stated in its install message:
>>> You might want to blacklist the "snd-pcm-oss" module in /etc/rc.conf to
keep ALSA's OSS emulation from interfering with ALSA or PulseAudio.

Another example is mplayer, which will use ALSA's OSS Emulation in the default configuration instead of using ALSA directly.

I think most people do not need or want this at all. We should tourn that round and let everyone manually load these module if they are needed instead of having to blacklist them if not.
In the end it would also be more KISS if we drop these lines in /lib/udev/rules.d/81-arch.rules:

# SOUND addon modules
SUBSYSTEM=="sound", RUN+="/lib/udev/load-modules.sh snd-pcm-oss"
SUBSYSTEM=="sound", RUN+="/lib/udev/load-modules.sh snd-seq-oss"
