Description:
After upgrade of xf86-video-intel to version 2.13.0, the second screen of my dual-screen setup is displayed shifted on the left.
The extreme left part of the screen is not visible, and a black zone is on the right of the screen.
Mouse action is not shifted, therefore I have to click about 10 centimeters on the right of buttons to activate them !
The monitor works correctly when used as clone of the first one.

Steps to reproduce:
* Have a dual screen setup
* Put one screen (using HDMI in my case) on the right of the other (using VGA in my case) with
xrandr --output HDMI1 --right-of VGA1 --pos 1680x0
or do the same kind of setup in KDE display settings
* Upgrade xf86-video-intel to 2.13.0-4 version

Reason for closing:  Fixed

Which kernel were you using? Found a similar bug report https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30295 but it was fixed with a newer kernel.

This occurs with core/kernel26 2.6.36.1-3:
# uname -a
Linux ncecpitrat 2.6.36-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Nov 24 00:39:57 CET 2010 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

This seems to be the latest in arch repo, even in testing.

But the bug report above corresponds exactly to my experience.

I think the best course of action would be for you to reopen that bug, if you can't find any others with your description, and tell them your problem.

I don't know which other package upgrade solved this (maybe kernel26 2.6.36.2-1), but I retried recently and it works, even though the xorg-video-intel package is still the 2.13.0-4.
Therefore I'm requesting closure.
Thanks.
