DetailsThe lib/gshadow.c parses /etc/gpasswd incorrectly. This causes `newgrp` command to not work correctly (e.g. always says "Invalid password", even if it is correct).
This has been fixed in the SVN trunk already and I think it would be nice to have it fixed in the repo until upstream releases a new version. SVN diff: http://svn.debian.org/viewsvn/pkg-shadow/upstream/trunk/lib/gshadow.c?r1=3054&r2=3096 I tested the patch - it fixes the problem. |
