Description:

LibreOffice worked fine in my system until the last update (kernel, xorg, intel drivers). Now, I launch Libreoffice and it crashes.

Try to use LibreOffice 3.2.99.3-1 with the lastest kernel, xorg and intel drivers updates.

Check your Xorg.0.log. It seems you're running into a DRI error caused by your 3D driver for your graphics card. This shouldn't be related to LibO and more OpenGL/GLX apps should break.

I can't reproduce this. libreoffice launches fine, the package versions are the same as yours.

I found something: LibreOffice only crashes when I try open one PPT/ODP file, opening DOC/ODT and XLS/ODS files LibreOffice works fine.

Do you have one Intel Corporation 82946GZ/GL Integrated Graphics Controller VGA card?

please test new mesa7.10/Xorg-server 1.9.3 and intel driver from testing.

The test with libreoffice-3.3.0.3-2, kernel 2.6.37-1, xorg-server-1.9.3.901-1, xf86-video-intel-2.14.0-1, intel-dri-7.9-1 and mesa-7.10-1 fails. The computer shows one black screen on KDE starting.

I have tested with libreoffice-3.3.0.3-2, kernel 2.6.37-1, xorg-server-1.9.3.901-1, mesa-7.10-1, xf86-video-intel-2.12.0-3, intel-dri-7.8.2-3, and libgl 7.8.2-3 and everything works fine.

I have tested with kernel 2.6.37-6, libdrm-2.4.23-2, intel-dri-7.10.0.git20110215-1, libgl-7.10.0.git20110215-1, mesa-7.10.0.git20110215-1, xf86-video-intel-2.14.0-2 and KDE 4.6.0-1 and the display will randomly "fracture" (crazy artifacts) and the screen doesn't respond to anything except the cursor.
