DetailsDescription:
The lqtest version of open-vm-tools ships a script which has to be included in the package in order to work properly. The scipt is found in the source tarball under scripts/common. its name is vmware-xdg-detect-de BTW, could the package install script perform the chmod 4755 /usr/bin/vmware-user-suid-wrapper (unless this violates security standards) needed to have this binary execute correctly? Additional info: * package version(s) 2010.11.17 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: launch vmware-user-suid-wrapper in console and see the output. |
