DetailsDescription:
Earlier this morning i created a bug report for this problem: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=109169 Upon further testing, i narrowed the problem to phonon-vlc. Other backends do not face the issue. I didn't discover it previously because i thought that when changing backends, theme sounds changed backend too, but it seems a logout was needed first for the change to take place. So it seems phonon-vlc causes this problem when used with Pulseaudio support and the latest packages. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use KDE, pulseaudio, phonon-vlc backend latest packages. 2. Switch to VLC backend in multimedia settings and logout. 3. Login and hear all theme sounds twice |
