Description:
The Shortcut "Ctrl+D" is set to kill-line, and it's not reassignable. I would suggest that the shortcut does not get set in the first place. There is a plugin for advanced text editing and you can assign your own shortcut to kill-line there. I will attach a patch as soon as I get home. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install gedit, gedit-plugins 2. activate "Comment/Uncomment" plugin 3. go to edit->Comment and see that the shortcut is Ctrl-D 4. Press Ctrl-D in a code file 5. line gets deleted instead of commented (of course, deleting it has a similar effect to being commented out, but still... not quite what I would like to see) 6. ??? 7. Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: CTRL+C and CTRL+V are also hardcoded shortcuts. Let's not break standard upstream behavior here.
