Description:
I get a network error in empathy when trying to use the msn protocol.

--Here is what I get when I run usr/lib/telepathy/telepathy-butterfly:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/telepathy/telepathy-butterfly", line 21, in <module>
import gobject
ImportError: No module named gobject


Additional info:
* version 0.5.14-4


Steps to reproduce:
Install empathy & telepathy-butterfly, and try to use an msn account

type python2 in console and then import gobject

does it work?

I have all of the telepathy-*'s installed though :(

reinstall python-telepathy.

did you had a hard reset and files were corrupted? did you update your system while root partition were full?

No i used the makepkg's from abs in /var/abs :( It works now though. Thanks a lot for the help man I appreciate it. Especially for something that ended up being operator error lol :(
