Configuration in /etc/conf.d/lircd.conf: LIRC_DEVICE='name="*HVR 1110*"' LIRC_DRIVER="devinput" LIRC_EXTRAOPTS="" LIRC_CONFIGFILE="/etc/lirc/lircd.conf" Notice the "named" format of LIRC_DEVICE. However, the /etc/rc.d/lircd script will not start the daemon correctly due to bash quoting the parameters. The solution is to prepend eval: eval /usr/sbin/lircd -d "$LIRC_DEVICE" $LIRC_EXTRAOPTS $LIRC_CONFIGFILE It took a bit of research why the daemon runs fine from command line but ignores IR commands when started from the startup script :-) Thanks a lot for fixing the script. |

Fixed in 0.9.0.pre1
