DetailsDescription:
rssh fails when connecting with rsync although it is allowed in the config. As of rsync 3, rsync reused the -e option to pass protocol information from the client to the server. We therefore cannot reject all -e options to rsync, only ones not sent with --server or containing something other than protocol information as an argument. Additional info: * rsync-3.0.7-1 * rssh-2.3.3-1 Steps to reproduce: Install rssh and rsync, configure rssh to restrice access to rsync, connect via rsync. Debian has a patch for that: http://patch-tracker.debian.org/patch/series/dl/rssh/2.3.2-8/rsync-protocol With that patch applied I can transfer files using rsync. |

This will be fixed when rssh-2.3.3-2 hits [extra].
