The new gnutls doesn't have libtasn1 as dependency anymore, depending many programs.
The problem is in the configure script, it is built with --without-included-libtasn1, if you specify this, it builds with the included libtasn1. Instead of this switch, please build with --with-libtasn1-prefix=/usr and make sure libtasn1 is installed during build.

Dorphell, when you package the new gnutls, be sure to package 1.0.24 and not 1.2.0. Please put 1.2.0 in testing so we can rebuild all applications depending on it (API and soname change)

depends=('opencdk' 'libtasn1' 'lzo') would be the new depends line for gnutls, the ./configure can be run with --prefix=/usr --with-zlib, leave the rest as default.

namcap doesn't detect lzo as dependency, but leave it in for sure. The configure scripts detect it when available and link binaries and libraries with it.

Please also apply the attached patch to both versions (they apply with some fuzzy on 1.0.x, but that's ok)

The problem is that gnutls really doesn't like opencdk and libasn1 which is what broke ssl support in gaim so I have to keep it as is. We'll see if 1.2.x fixes the incompatibility.
