Summary and Info:
After upgrading to libxkbfile 1.0.7-1, none of my media keys (XF86AudioPlay, XF86AudioRaiseVolume etc...) work. I use them to control mpd through xbindkeys.

Doing a xbindkeys -k, the keypress isn't even detected.

Keyboard is a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000.

Downgrading to libxkbfile 1.0.6-1 from ARM solves the problem.

I can't reproduce this issue, but looking at what changed between libxkbfile 1.0.6 and 1.0.7 is that 1.0.7 was compiled against a newer proto that contains a fix for an invalid mask setting. I released xorg-server 1.9.2 in extra and testing that has been built against the newer libraries and protos, please try that version.
