update to kernel 2.6.35.8 - problem continues.

EDIT: I did recompile with '--enable-dnssd' and '--enable-avahi' options, but no diferences for the problem.
Back to default package.

I change de daemons order to: (samba before avahi-daemon)

DAEMONS=(syslog-ng dbus hal networkmanager samba avahi-daemon avahi-dnsconfd @alsa @laptop-mode @powernowd @sensors @tpd @cups @netfs @bluetooth @mpd @crond @ufw)

Result:

Map the shares (in lmhosts or no), mount public shares. Login/pass protected shares do not open prompt dialog - return error (cannot retrive list from the server).

At all cases manually mounts and gnome -> places -> connect to server -> samba shares works fine, login/pass protected shares show prompt dialog and it's works.

EDIT: using samba 3.5.6 - default package.

Samba 3.5.9-2 at now.

Attached two strace files: strace results from samba started during boot and after login.

I hope may be helpful.

I'm cannot able to interpret.

Thank you.
