After upgrading to nvidia/nvidia-utils 260.19, plasma-desktop (kdelibs 4.5.2-2) crashes right after logging in to my system. However, it is able to recover and restarts, but crashes again when I "touch" any icons at toolbars.

Recompiling the old version (256.53-1) and downgrading helped. I had to remove several plasma*rc files in .kde4 as well.

I tried to "startkde" on tty1 and watch the stdout, but it only stated something like "plasma-desktop crashed" without further information.

I can not reproduce this issue. Anyway I am not affected by many issues reported to nvidia because I have an old GPU (7300 GT).

Please report this bug must be reported to upstream, following the rules. Thanks.

I have the same issue. But it's changing when my system crashes. I have GeForce 7600 graphic card.

I haven't tried that yet, but I will do an update next week.

I think this bug may be closed now, as I don't experience any problems with a completely updated system.

kernel26 (2.6.36.3-2)
kdelibs (4.6.0-1)
nvidia (260.19.36-1)
