on archlinux.org, pick-up the package of your wish by making a package search and go to the package page Click the 'Donwload from mirror' link. You'll end up with a tar.xz.tar file instead of tar.xz. For example: http://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/i686/freerdp/download/ May be some configuration mistake on the server ? Problem spotted with chromium and firefox; it works with wget |

So either your browser is configured wrong (highly likely if it is working for wget) or this is something 100% out of our control since all we do is redirect to a package hosted on the kernel.org mirrors.
