I wrote a little "plugin" for netcfg that adds support for OpenVPN connections. It is available on the AUR: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=20543

Given the popularity of OpenVPN (according to pkgstats, it has more users than bridge-utils or wpa_actiond), I'd like to have that package merged in the default netcfg.
This has already been suggested by Thomas Bächler in  FS#19611  (https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/19611). And since this package only adds two new files (including an example), this would require very little work.

Could a netcfg developer please investigate if this is possible?

Ok. I'll do a release after my exams are done which is in about a month or so, I'll merge this.
