DetailsThe latest kernel contains the lirc module (at least the ones I needed, I cannot confirm it contains all of them).
When I tried to upgrade with pacman I could not because of a conflict between lirc and kernel26, but if kernel26 would provide lirc it would just uninstall the current lirc package (at least I think so). The only concern is that lirc-utils does depend on lirc, and I doubt the current lirc-utils could work with the drivers in 2.6.36... Thanks |
This task depends upon
It needs the lirc_atiusb module which is not included in linux-2.6.36
I tried the modules ati_remote and ati_remote2 instead (as mentioned here: http://web.archiveorange.com/archive/v/Xn95HHofyJaA0oPZ9f8R), but the Xbox Reciever does not work with them (I guess these two are only for the ATI/X10 remotes). So I need the lirc_atiusb module from lirc Package.
