Every time i try to play videos vith vlc i have this error:

Potential ALSA version problem:
VLC failed to initialize your sound output device (if any).
Please update alsa-lib to version 1.0.23-2-g8d80d5f or higher to try to fix this issue.

I have installed vlc 1.1.4.1-2 and alsa-lib 1.0.23-2

Just confirming I have the same problem on x86_64 using snd_hda_codec_realtek.
