Details

It is possible (and desirable) to have python versions 2 and 3 installed simultaneously. The same is true for the python documentation, but the current python-docs package doesn't distinguish major release versions like the python package itself does. As a result, it's no longer possible to install documentation for python2!

Someone probably just needs to copy the PKGBUILD and make a python2-docs package.
