in /lib/initcpio/init_functions
line 18
echo "Waiting ${seconds} seconds for device ${device} ..."
here echo should be "msg" ?

Or it will not recognize the "quiet" option,and the "for cmd in ${CMDLINE}; do" may be moved ahead?So the quiet option may affect the "msg 'Loading Initramfs'" then
