Description:
In order for LilyPond's python scripts to work with python2, the attached patch should be applied to the PKGBUILD. This forces LilyPond's configure script to detect the appropriate python version and make the correct variable substitutions.

Are you trying to build lilypond from source ? Does the provided lilypond package work for you ?

Like Rémy hinted, if the package is built in a clean chroot, it will auto-detect and use python2 during the ./configure step.

If something else happens, please specify.

Ah, okay. Sorry about the noise. The lilypond package in [community] does work for me.
