As much as I hate MS SQL server, it has to be used at times.

freetds is in [community] and as PHP is in [extra] it cannot
depend on it.

Didn't notice your username. :-) So if you like to maintain
freetds in extra I have no objection in adding this feature to
PHP.

It has to be removed from community and added to extra; I have
send an email to the TU (I didn't find him in the flyspray dev
list)

freetds is now in extra; feel free to adopt it. PHP is in staging
and will move in when the db rebuild is done.
