Description:

I am not sure what is the arch's policy regarding including patch bug fixes
Current gvfs and older versions have this bug

You may consider to include the patch by Tomas Bzatek (gvfs developer). It fixes overwriting files through FTP and SFTP mounts. All details you can find on that page.

I had this bug for the last 7-8 months.
