DetailsDescription: maxima is not compiled with tcp support, which make it unusable for wxmaxima
Steps to reproduce: see : https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/21236?project=1 #1 install wxmaxima #2 launch wxmaxima #3 try eg diff(x^3,x,1); shift+enter #4 observe the pop up saying "not connected to maxima!" You have to compile it with clisp (common lisp interpreter) but not cmucl. |
