DetailsNote that KDE comes with a mozilla-firefox.desktop file with many more translations (of "Web Browser" in description) included. You might want to use that instead.
The following 2 entries should be added to mozilla-firefox.desktop: > StartupNotify=false > Exec=firefox %u The first line removes the startup notification under KDE where it is misleading. The second one allows dropping url's over the Mozilla Firefox icon (if that's in a toolbar, for example) - the line exists, but without %u |

it is set to true anyway else it is bad for gnome it might be a bug in kde ;)
