Please give more details about error messages next time. It appears that ibus has not been modified correctly, /usr/lib/ibus/ibus-ui-gtk and /usr/bin/ibus-setup still refer to python and not python2.

IBus provided no error message, and I'm not sure about where it calls python from. Anyway, it works.

The build currently fails with

error parsing file IBus-1.0.gir: Line 20, character 33: The attribute 'name' on the element 'type' must be specified

if introspection is enabled. Without knowing anything about GObjectIntrospection, it looks like the gir file might have to be regenerated?

I checked in the necessary python->python2 seds in trunk; could somebody else take a look at the introspection error?
