FS#2117 - php with mbstring extension

DetailsThis issue comes up with the use of phpMyAdmin, which explains that the default character set for Mysql is utf-8-unicode. PhpMyAdmin complains that the mbstring extension does not exist. Having looked at what this is, it seems like it would be a good idea to have enabled for everyone's benefit.
http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.mbstring.php Perhaps with --enable-mbstring=all and --enable-mbregex and include some of the new settings into the php.ini file. Thank you php maintainer! |
