Sorry. Forgot to set "Architecture" to x86_64. Feel free to change it if someone cannot confirm this to be happening on i686.

non-KMS mode is no more recommended. you should use KMS and maybe try the new mesa stack in testing. you can anyway report your issue upstream.

The only reason I try to avoid KMS is because I experience the screen turning off for about 3 seconds every 15-20 minutes or so (I think that this is a known bug already). I guess I'll have to stick to KMS, because X at least works with that.
